As we previously reported here on eWn, Paul Heyman and Bull Nakano will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame Class of 2024.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray weighed in on who should induct Heyman into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Ray named CM Punk before eventually opting for “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. He said,
“Punk is a great choice. First of all, Punk, who should have been wrestling at WrestleMania this year most likely against Seth Rollins, unfortunately, gets the triceps injury. He’s on the shelf, they used him at the press conference and how can we get some of our value, some of our money’s worth out Punk? We’re paying him, so let’s have him do something. Punk, the first Paul Heyman guy in the WWE, even before Brock [Lesnar]. Stone Cold Steve Austin is the guy to induct Paul.”
Meanwhile, Natalya congratulated Bull Nakano on Twitter. The Queen of Harts wrote,
“Bull Nakano came at a time when something else was expected of women’s wrestling matches. Today, we reap the benefits of Bull ignoring those expectations and kicking ass because she was that damn good! Her passion, grit and determination represents womens wrestling, and what we have today is all the better because of women like Bull who weren’t afraid to be themselves. Congratulations on your @wwe HALL OF FAME induction, Bull! You deserve it!”
The 2024 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on April 5, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the night preceding WrestleMania 40.
