In January, Vince McMahon resigned from his position at TKO Group after a lawsuit from former WWE employee Janel Grant accused him of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and more. WWE and John Laurinaitis are also named as defendants in the lawsuit.
Pwinsider is reporting that Laurinaitis filed a waiver of service on Wednesday (March 21), acknowledging that he is “well informed” of the lawsuit and doesn’t need to be served.
The paperwork was filed with the United States District Court of Connecticut.
Laurinaitis also stated that he would respond within sixty days from March 15. He is the first defendant to respond to the Honorable Court.
