Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative for WWE, Shawn Michaels took to Twitter to comment on the new deal between WWE NXT and The CW.
As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE NXT will be moving to the CW network next year.
HBK tweeted, “I am absolutely thrilled for @WWENXT to debut on @TheCW in October 2024. This is huge for our young superstars and I’m very proud to continue the success that @TripleH laid the ground work for. #WeAreNXT ”
Mickie James and wrestling ring announcer David Penzer recently commented on an old TNA clip that features Kurt Angle attacking and beating up Penzer on TNA IMPACT! in October 2008.
James wrote, “Dear @RealKurtAngle you’re my hero. @davidpenzer it’s all your fault.”
Angle later responded, “You’re the best @MickieJames”
Penzer wrote, ”Oh, come on now. This is getting ridiculous!”
Penzer also revealed how the aftermath of the attack left him looking swollen for two weeks, writing, “I laugh about this now but damn he made me the Elephant Man for a week or 2…”
