WWE RAW Superstar Seth Rollins has serious doubts that the Shield will ever reunite in any promotion.
The group, consisting of Rollins, Jon Moxley (then-Dean Ambrose), and Roman Reigns, debuted in WWE in November 2012 and had multiple splits and reunions.
With Reigns now a dominant singles heel and Moxley in AEW, Rollins told Digital Spy he doubts the group will ever get back together.
“I can say that, and maybe this might come back to bite me at some point, but I just don’t think you’re ever going to see the three of us team up ever again. It wouldn’t look the way you want it to look. It wouldn’t be like the old days in the shield, it would be a different animal.”
Rollins did have one last Shield entrance earlier this year, as he used the SWAT gear and theme ahead of his Universal title match with Reigns at this year’s Royal Rumble.
