As many of you know by now, Zelina Vega was fired from WWE last week due to what they claim was a “breach of contract” after she went against their edict on banning talent from third-party platforms such as Twitch and Cameo. As we previously reported here on eWn, SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris tweeted in support of Vega following her release.
According to a tweet earlier today from the official SAG-AFTRA account, there was a “Powerful conversation with Thea Trinidad today. We support her and others as they work to protect and empower themselves.”
Vega retweeted the post and said,
“Very powerful indeed, thank you all for the pleasant conversation and insight.”
