AEW Rampage Results (1/7/2022)

#1. Adam Cole vs. Jake Atlas — Winner: Adam Cole via submission

Paragon look to beat up an injured Jake Atlas, but the Best Friends & Orange Cassidy (with a chain) come out to make the save.

– Andrade wonders why Darby Allin is working for Sting? Tony Schiavone says that’s not the case, they are friends. Andrade wants some personal assistance, so he tells Sting to name his price.

#2. Aaron Solo vs. Hook — Winner: Hook via Redrum submission

– QT Marshall gets in Hook’s face, but he quickly regrets it when he gets grabbed and thrown across the ring on to his head.

– Ricky Starks confirms the FTW Championship will be defended at Battle For The Belts against Matt Sydal.

#3. Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter vs. Ruby Soho & Riho — Winners: Ruby Soho & Riho

Mark Henry tries conducting an interview before the main event, but Kingston & Santana and Ortiz walk off and soon find Garcia & 2 Point 0. For the first time, the match begins before Henry can say it’s time for the main event.

#4. [No DQ, No Rules, No Holds Barred] Daniel Garcia & 2 Point 0 vs. Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz — Winners: Kingston, Santana & Ortiz

After the match, Garcia & 2 Point 0 blindside their opponents. They tape Kingston to the ropes and this provokes Chris Jericho, who leaves the announcers table. Garcia & 2 Point O get out of dodge, and Jericho frees Kingston from the ropes. See you tomorrow night for the Battle Of The Belts show! Here’s the card:

  1. Britt Baker (c) vs. Riho for the AEW Women’s World Championship
  2. Dustin Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara for the interim AEW TNT Championship
  3. Ricky Starks vs. Matt Sydal for the FTW Championship
