Here are the full results for the episode of AEW Dynamite (& Rampage) airing on March 20, 2024.

AEW Dynamite Results (3/20/2024)

The show opens with Mercedes Mone. She repeats that she missed all of this and is happy to be in AEW. People may not know this, but this was almost taken away from her ten months when she suffered an almost career ending injury in a match with Willow Nightingale. A lot of people may not know who Mercedes Mone is, so she put together a video. She isn’t here to lead a women’s evolution. She is here to lead a global women’s revolution. Mone sends a warning to Julia Hart & Skye Blue.

The lights go out. When they come back on, Julia Hart distracts her while Skye Blue blindsides. Mercedes fends them off, so they grab steel chairs. Willow Nightingale & Kris Statlander show up with their own chairs. The lights go out and they disappear. Willow thinks about hitting Mercedes with a steel chair, but thinks better of it.

#1. [AEW Continental Championship] Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada – Winner: Okada becomes the new champion!

During Okada’s celebration, Pac enters to give him a warning without saying a word.

Backstage, Swerve Strickland says Samoa Joe tried to embarrass him, but he has been ducking him since. He is inspired to fight someone tonight, so he is offering an open challenge.

Mercedes Mone thanks Kris Statlander for having her back last week. Nightingale wants to say something to her, but the CEO tells her she has done enough.

#2. Hook vs. Chris Jericho – Winner: Hook with a roll up

Adam Cole gives some tough love to Wardlow. He tells him to ensure Roderick Strong, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett keep their titles, otherwise there could be consequences.

Chris Jericho shows his respect to Hook, and he wants to propose something to him next week.

Tony Schiavone invites Will Ospreay to the ring. He says Bryan Danielson wants him to prove he can walk in his shoes, so Will challenges Katsuyori Shibata to a match next week on Dynamite.

#3. Toni Storm & Mariah May (w/ Luther) vs. Deonna Purrazzo & Thunder Rosa – Winners: Purrazzo & Rosa with the latter pinning Storm

#4. Swerve Strickland vs. The Butcher – Winner: Strickland via submission

Strickland insults Samoa Joe by saying he has such a big neck he can’t hang him with his chain. Joe makes his entrance to let him know that Strickland already had his opportunity and he lost. He says Strickland believes he can make the impossible possible by believing he can beat him.

Joe knows what to do with guys like Swerve, and he will give it to him right now. Don Callis interrupts. He tells Strickland that outside of the family, Konosuke Takeshita has the same amount of wins. Callis wants to teach him that this house belongs to the Don Callis family. Strickland replies by stating that when he is done with Takeshita, he is coming for Joe.

#5. [I Quit Match for the AEW TNT Championship] Christian Cage (c) vs. Adam Copeland – Winner: Adam Copeland becomes the new champion!

AEW Rampage Results (3/20/2024)

The main event of Dynamite crossed over on to Rampage, with the finish opening the show. Adam Copeland, Daniel Garcia and Matt Menard handcuffed The Patriarchy to the ring, before Adam hit Christian low with Spike. The TNT Champion quit before being hit in the head with Spike.

Jay White says Darby Allin should be thanking him saving his life. He is bigger than Mount Everest, and he will never overcome him.

The Acclaimed are out next. Max Caster said they should have known Bullet Club Gold would betray them. Billy Gunn is not cleared to travel after what happened. Caster offers White to save his life by sending him back to New Zealand, but he won’t take it because he isn’t smart. Only a stupid person would piss off The Acclaimed, so when they return they will be hunted.

Anthony Bowens say Bullet Club Gold have no balls. Deep down they know they aren’t elite enough. Maybe Jay White should have listened to the internet and signed somewhere else, because he has lost every opportunity that has gone his way, and The Gunns are so irrelevant they weren’t part of the tag team title history package. The Acclaimed never needed Bullet Club Gold.

#1. [Wild Card Tag Team Tournament] Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta (w/ Chuck Taylor) vs. Kyle Fletcher & Powerhouse Hobbs (w/ Don Callis) – Winners: Best Friends

#2. Katsuyori Shibata vs. Kevin Matthews – Winner: Shibata
