  • The show opened with a Samoa Joe promo, pretaped from last Saturday, speaking about winning the title from MJF. He will take everything from everyone who tried to take the title from him.
  • Promo: Adam Cole and company explained their actions. How are they the bad guys when MJF made all these enemies and was awful for so long? The only reason people care about MJF is due to Adam Cole, so eventually, everyone will thank him for doing what he did. MJF is gone and never coming back. “The Undisputed Kingdom” has one goal in common, which is to win championship gold. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett will go after the tag titles. Roderick Strong (Cole’s real best friend) will be going after the International title. Wardlow for the world title and when Cole is healed, Wardlow is going to forfeit it to him. Cole hopes Samoa Joe isn’t champion still by then, because it would be a shame to hurt a friend. Bullet Club Gold comes out to go after them for having been attacked in the past. The same for The Acclaimed, looking for some revenge.
  • AEW International Championship Orange Cassidy (c) defeated Dante Martin by pinfall. Private Party came out after the match to say that they’re putting the entire tag team division on notice, including even The Hardy Boyz. New year, new me? More like new year, new champs.
  • Renee Paquette interviewed Timeless Toni Storm, who was disappointed she was in New Jersey, rather than New York.
  • The House of Black will face FTR on Collision and talked smack about how
  • Renee Paquette interviewed Swerve Strickland with Prince Nana to hype up his match against Daniel Garcia for later tonight. Swerve is going to work his way toward some gold, so Samoa Joe should be ready.
  • Mariah May defeated Queen Aminata by pinfall. Post-match, May was interviewed by Paquette about winning her debut. It’s surreal to her, and she hopes that Toni Storm is watching and proud of her. Her only regret is that it had to happen in New Jersey. Out comes Deonna Purrazzo! She’s now signed to the company and defends New Jersey while badmouthing Toni Storm. After Mariah May calls her a bitch, Deonna kicks her out of the ring to stand tall.
  • Promo: Christian Cage spoke on winning the TNT Championship for a second time this past Saturday. He thanked everyone but Killswitch, giving credit to himself for putting the final nail in the coffin for Adam Copeland instead. No more title shots for Copeland now that he beat him twice. Now, Copeland has to look himself in the mirror and finally know that Christian was the better man.
  • Backstage, Renee interviews Ruby Soho, Saraya and Harley Cameron, who is dressed in a harness and fishnets to try to look the part of a new teammate. Ruby’s not entirely on board, but not seemingly okay enough to let her join.
  • Konosuke Takeshita defeated Darby Allin by pinfall. Next week, The Don Callis Family wants to upset Sting’s perfect record.
  • Trent Beretta defeated Brian Cage, Bryan Keith and El Hijo del Vikingo to earn a title shot for the Continental Crown Championship on this Saturday’s Collision.
  • Swerve Strickland defeated Daniel Garcia by pinfall. After the match, Hangman Adam Page came out to fight with Swerve.
