Welcome to the results for NWA Powerrr Season 11 Episode 4, coming to you from Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee on December 6, 2022! This episode featured the first night of the Champions Series.
The program begins with announcer, Kyle Davis, explaining the rules of the lengthy Champions Series tournament beginning this week. Each NWA champion is captain to a team of fellow NWA talent, with 8 total teams, that will compete for points that they are awarded through the outcome of their matches. Points are awarded as follows:
The match is then restarted as Latimer seemed able to continue fighting. EC3 holds the upper hand as he toys with the blinded Latimer. As EC3 goes for his finishing DDT/bulldog move, Latimer reverses into the Crossface. He has the hold locked in but cannot see his opponent reaching the ropes. The referee begins the count to break the hold but Thom Latimer is unable to realize that it is because EC3 has his hands on the bottom rope. The referee reaches the 5 count and calls for the bell. EC3 wins via extreme disqualification and receives 3 points.
A four way elimination style match was held next to determine the alternates for the teams in the Champion Series tournament. Andrews as the only true strongman in the bout takes the time to throw around the three much smaller competitors. Freeman steps up to Andrews who uses him as a weapon while in a powerbomb position. Freeman reverses and rolls up Andrews, eliminating him by pinfall with assistance from the other two competitors. The three go back and forth with strikes and holds resulting in Sal locking a figure four leg lock on Plunkett. Freeman splashes Sal while the hold is still locked in and then eliminates him by pinfall. Rolando Freeman then hits his Biggest Boot kick on Plunkett and scores the win.
Jay Bradley and his NWA United States tag team champion partner discuss his being the captain of an impressive team for the tournament.
Most of the match saw aggressive fighting coming from Judais and the members of the opposing team. Hawx blind tage himself in at one point, even scolding his partner for his shady tactics. Damage and Freeman take advantage and beat down Hawx. Judais is eventually tagged back in and lands a choke slam on Freeman to score the win for his team via pinfall. Their team was awarded 5 points.
Cyon says that his team’s success is all thanks to his father, Austin Idol. When asked where Idol was Cyon simply replied that he was on an important mission for the NWA and that it was no one’s business where he was.
Kamille speaks about being upset over the actions taken by EC3 in his match earlier in the night. She also claims that he makes no sense at all when speaking.
Silas and Kratos exchange power offense for most of the match. Kratos hits a powerslam but Silas is able to kick out. Silas comes up with a running powerslam for a close two count. Thrillbilly Silas nails a back suplex and an elbow for another two count. He attempts his Thrill Ride but Kratos powers out and hits him with a lariat. Silas gets his foot on the rope to break the pinfall. He gets up, hits the Thrill Ride, and gets the pinfall victory. 5 points awarded.
