AEW Double or Nothing is scheduled for this Saturday night, and now that the go-home episode of Dynamite has aired, we have a firmer grasp of which wrestlers will be participating in the pay-per-view and which men and women are being left out in the cold.

As always, cards are subject to change and there could be any number of alterations to this lineup with surprise appearances, impromptu matches and so on, so nothing is truly set in stone. However, as far as the event is currently being advertised, the following talent from the All Elite Wrestling roster is not being promoted as part of the program.

It’s your call to judge whether these missing stars are being left off the card for justifiable reasons or not, so let’s take a look at the superstars missing from AEW Double or Nothing.

From the Men’s Division

— Anthony Ogogo: Ogogo has yet to make his debut.

— Austin Gunn: Gunn is a low-level priority. There are only so many spots on the card and he’s not a featured player. All future examples of the same type of wrestler with the same set of circumstances will just be shorted to the phrase #JobberStatus

— Brandon Cutler: #JobberStatus

— The Butcher and The Blade: These two haven’t competed since the pandemic. They may simply be some of the ones who chose not to risk exposing themselves.

— The Dark Order (10, Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno, John Silver & Stu Grayson): While these four aren’t booked for the card, Brodie Lee is facing Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. It’s very likely we’ll see these guys pop up, even if they’re just ringside for the entrance or something.

— Death Triangle (Pac & Pentagón Jr.): Fenix is in the Casino Ladder Match. Pac cannot travel yet and the same may be the case with Pentagon.

— The Hybrid 2 (Angélico & Jack Evans): #JobberStatus

— Jimmy Havoc: I’m very surprised Havoc wasn’t chosen for the Casino Ladder Match. Since the final spot is a mystery person, I doubt it would just be Havoc as the surprise.

— Joey Janela: Just like Havoc, I assumed he would have been in the ladder match. Very strange.

— Jurassic Express (Marko Stunt): Jungle Boy will face MJF and Luchasaurus is in the Casino Ladder Match, but Stunt is sitting this event out, unless he’s ringside joining Jungle Boy and getting wrecked by Wardlow.

— Luther: #JobberStatus

— Michael Nakazawa: #JobberStatus

— The Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall): #JobberStatus, plus Rhodes lost in the TNT Championship tournament.

— Peter Avalon: #JobberStatus

— Shawn Spears: I assumed Spears had a good shot of being in the Casino Ladder Match (just like Havoc and Janela). I guess they want to keep him searching for that tag team partner, instead.

— SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels): Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian are in the Casino Ladder Match. Daniels, oddly enough, is not booked. Is that going to factor into their success in this match, or is he simply not performing and there’s not much more to it than that?

— Sonny Kiss: #JobberStatus

— Strong Hearts (CIMA & T-Hawk): #JobberStatus as well as possibly travel issues.

— Wardlow: He’s not officially booked for the card, but he’ll most likely accompany MJF ringside.

From the Women’s Division

— Allie / The Bunny: No Butcher and Blade means no Bunny, either.

— Anna Jay: She’s only just signed with the company recently and is not important enough yet to be given a spot over the other women on the roster.

— Bea Priestley: Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe we’ve seen Priestley since the pandemic. She may be one of the ones who chose not to make appearances.

— Big Swole: Swole hasn’t wrestled since March. She is probably not one of the competitors willing to work during the pandemic.

— Brandi Rhodes: She may be ringside to accompany Cody for his match, while not being officially booked for the card.

— Emi Sakura: She is most likely part of the travel issues group, as well as simply not ranked high enough to justify being in a title match or something.

— Leva Bates: #JobberStatus

— Mel: #JobberStatus

— Penelope Ford: Ford had a shot at getting a title match, but lost in her four-way against Hikaru Shida.

— Riho: She had her time in the spotlight. Now, it’s Nyla Rose’s and her challengers. Riho may have travel issues, too.

— Sadie Gibbs: #JobberStatus

— Shanna: #JobberStatus

— Yuka Sakazaki: She is most likely part of the travel issues group, as well as simply not ranked high enough to justify being in a title match or something.

Do you think these men and women or any others not on this list should have been booked on the card in some fashion? How would you have utilized them if given the opportunity? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
