It’s time for yet another installment of “Ask Rachel” where I answer your pro wrestling questions. And so, let’s get to the questions!

What is your view of the “Montreal Screwjob?”

The “Montreal Screwjob” happened simply because Bret Hart was leaving the WWF for WCW at that time. It became very evident that Vince McMahon was never a fan of Hart’s (he reportedly was a huge supporter of Shawn Michaels) and that he was very determined to prevent Hart from winning the WWF Championship. It would also began the so-called “Attitude Era” which coincided with the fact that WCW Monday Nitro was defeating Monday Night RAW in the ratings at the time. Not only did the “Attitude Era” helped rejuvenate the WWF but it also forced WCW off the air. As for my view, I felt that Hart got robbed due to McMahon’s dislike for him but McMahon felt that Michaels as WWF Champion was “best for business.”

Will they soon run out of credible people to put in the Hall of Fame?

No, not by a longshot. In the coming years, you can expect the likes of The Rock, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, John Cena, and Triple H to be inducted.

How important is entrance music?

IMO, very important. What would John Cena be like without “The Time Is Now” or CM Punk without “Cult of Personality?” Absolutely nothing! Even though WWE Superstars for the most part get jobber entrances, entrance music is still vital in the WWE’s eyes.

Who brought the most prestige to the WWF/WWE title?

Although Bruno Sammartino had one of the most longest reigns in history, I would have to say Hulk Hogan. Now, some may argue that it was “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, it was Hogan who helped put the WWF on the landscape as he became the forerunner for Austin and now John Cena.
