With Wrestlemania 34 taking place in New Orleans, on April 8th, the “Empress of Tomorrow” looks ready to dethrone the “Queen” and become the new Smackdown Live Women’s Champion.

Following Charlotte Flair’s Championship Match against Ruby Riott at Fastlane on March 11th, Asuka came to the ring and declared she would face the current champion in the Showcase of the Immortals.

Following her victory in the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble Match, Asuka hadn’t made it clear who she would face in the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Even though she was expected to challenge Raw Women’s champion, Alexa Bliss, she made the surprise and decided to battle the “Queen”.

Given Charlotte’s in-ring ability, Asuka’s choice makes more sense, since the Japanese wrestler, who is considered one of the best female performers in the WWE, will put her undefeated streak on the line against the company’s number one in the women’s division.

Although Alexa Bliss is a very talented wrestler, who has done a great job as a heel so far, the “Queen” has taken it to the next level and has become a dominant force in the business.

As Charlotte has prevailed over all of her opponents in Smackdown Live, it is now time for her to show she can defeat the Empress of Tomorrow (who still belongs to the Raw roster) and end the undefeated streak.

Asuka has not been defeated since she made her debut in 2015. Consequently, she has quickly climbed higher in the ladder and is considered one of WWE’s top prospects.

The former NXT Women’s Champion has become a must-see superstar in the WWE and a force to be reckoned with, given her great in-ring skills and her ability to dominate her opponents.

That said, the company has the opportunity to help Asuka solidify herself as the next best thing, so it is likely the creative team will decide to have Asuka defeat Charlotte and become the new champion.

Moreover, there is still no sign whether the company has any plans to let the streak end, which is considered a tough decision, since Asuka has already been embraced by the fans, who want to see her retain her dominant presence in the ring.

Furthermore, a possible victory over Charlotte will enable her to become the biggest star in the Women’s division, since she will be the only undefeated champion in the entire WWE, having prevailed over every superstar that stood in her path.

On the other hand, in case the “Queen” beats the “Empress of Tomorrow”, Charlotte will prove she is the best in the Women’s Division, while the WWE will have the chance to continue the storyline, since it is certain Asuka will be granted another title opportunity in the post-Wrestlemania pay-per-views.

Overall, the Championship Match between Charlotte Flair and Asuka will undoubtedly main event Wrestlemania 34, while the bout between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax for the Raw Women’s Championship will be a must-see match as well.
