Create Potential Big Moment Only To Forget It

I don’t usually post or say much on the web, but I just couldn’t hold this in anymore.  How many of us longtime wrestling fans have waited for the day that Sting steps into a WWE ring?  Personally, I thought it would never happen, so when music hit and the one and only Sting came down the aisle at Survivor Series, I let out a huge childlike cheer as I watched from my living room the moment I thought would never be.  Yes, Sting is in his 50’s and way past his prime, but I still love the idea of seeing him have a limited run, with no titles, in WWE to get some younger talent over.  I know Sting has only signed a seriously part time contract, but am I the only one who sees it being used completely wrong?  He has signed on for something like 6 appearances if I remember what I read correctly, but why use 1 appearance to help put The Authority out of power and then we don’t see Sting at all?  A great moment that will just be forgotten as the machine moves forward.  We have not seen, nor heard from Sting since Survivor Series and, although they have said his name on TV several times, the potential significance of his actions at Survivor Series, are severely easy to forget as there has been no substantial follow up what-so-ever.
