WWE’s newest title is all about fun and games, but a fine line must be drawn between making a joke of the 24/7 title and its champion, and crowning new, shocking victors in fun settings. So far, the 24/7 title has been held by R-Truth a staggering 15 times, and he’s constantly being chased by the entire locker room including Drake Maverick, Titus O’Neil, and EC3. While the title is consistently one of the most entertaining parts of the show, it has the potential to easily go off the rails and become too big of a joke for anyone to care about. That’s why I made this list: The top five craziest options for the 24/7 title!

5. John Stewart

John Stewart has appeared on WWE television a few times and each time was more entertaining than the last. His program with John Cena and Seth Rollins was one of the highlights of WWE’s summer in 2015 and when he announced he was done with his WWE cameo, I was disappointed. He is one of the only celebrities that WWE has ever featured on the show that I feel enhanced the product instead of belittling it, or blindly advertising their product. If Stewart were to return and roll up R-Truth, he would be a great option for a special guest 24/7 champion for a night somewhere down the line.

4. Mick Foley

The man who introduced the 24/7 Title and a pioneer of hardcore wrestling, Mick Foley has proclaimed since day one of the championship that he intends on holding it. I think Foley returning and winning the 24/7 Title would be awesome, and he could potentially win it as Mankind, Dude Love, or Cactus Jack! Imagine Foley’s three personas all holding the title in the same night!

3. Snoop Dogg

Snopp Dogg has been involved with WWE on a number of occasions, most recently he rapped his first cousin, Sasha Banks’ theme song and accompanied her to the ring at Wrestlemania. Although we haven’t seen Snoop Dogg in the WWE world for awhile, now would be a great time for him to reenter. One of the most iconic faces in pop-culture holding the 24/7 title would do WWE wonders and be an awesome break for the 24/7 Title.

2. Carmella

Carmella has basically served as R-Truth’s bodyguard over the last few months and without her, Truth probably wouldn’t be champion! Could you imagine though, if one day Carmella turned around and Superkicked Truth right in the face, taking the 24/7 title and dumping her best friend? Carmella winning the title would be great for the Women’s division and the storyline of her betraying R-Truth would be even better.

Honorable Mentions:

  • Shaquille O’Neal – Shaq competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial battle royal and was even scheduled to face the big show at Wrestlemania 33. Those plans sadly never came to fruition, but based on his commercial work, we know Shaq loves to entertain.
  • Lebron James – Lebron James is a big wrestling fan and his official WWE debut couldn’t go any better if he were to win the 24/7 title. The lifelong fan of The Undertaker would love to hold the title even just for a night.
  • Donald Trump – The current President of the United States and also a WWE Hall of Famer. Must I say more?

1. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar winning the 24/7 Title would actually lead to the title’s longest reign and quality television. Lesnar with the 24/7 Title would lead to complete and utter destruction around the locker room and arena as he is forced to fend off countless superstars that are in pursuit of his title. In addition, a force as dominant and imposing as Lesnar holding a title that has been primarily for midcard superstars would create a huge win for whoever could dethrone the Beast.

The 24/7 Title is a ton of fun, but keeping it fresh is the key to its success. R-Truth has been an incredible champion, but I believe those five superstars and celebrities would also benefit the title and even give it a unique sort of prestige.
