lAt money in the bank we will see a new WWE world heavyweight champion crowned. The match is now complete and with Daniel Bryan’s injury ensuring he is out of the picture, who do we really want to see as the next champion?
Randy Orton – Do we need another Orton title run so soon after he held the title for many months? I personally don’t think so, although I could see it happening as he is feuding with Roman Reigns and this could lead to Reigns getting a title shot. Although a little too soon perhaps for Reigns, but I wouldn’t be surprised.
John Cena – Well where do I start here! do we want or need another Cena title run? I think the answer is a definite no as I feel Cena is just the same thing over and over again. The only positive thing I could think of would be to have Cena win it and then lose it by losing to an up and coming star, but I’m not so sure if that would happen and I can’t see why Cena would win this match at this moment in time, other than to have a big name as champ going into Summerslam.
Bray Wyatt – Do I want Wyatt as champ? Hell yes!! After witnessing his match at the Rumble with Daniel Bryan I was amazed at his skills and his promos are just epic. Maybe a little too soon to put the title on him but could you imagine the stories and feuds that could happen with Bray as the champion? Although after losing to Cena last month I’m not so sure if it would be credible for him to win it this month.
Roman Reigns – A certain future champion as he has the look and in time, abilities, in my opinion. He’s been in the WWE for a year and a half and has built up nicely to this point, and I think that a feud with Orton could be epic if done right so I think the wwe could possibly go that way, and therefore neither Orton or Reigns will win the title just yet.
Cesaro – I was always wishing that Cesaro would get a better deal when he was constantly getting squashed and going nowhere. Now he is getting a good push and has Heyman by his side, but I’m just not that convinced by him. I want him to be amazing and I want to be wowed by his matches but I can’t get excited by him as much as say, Rollins or Ambrose or Wyatt. Does anyone else feel like this with Cesaro? I don’t think he’ll win the title this month and I couldn’t see a title reign being that exciting if I’m honest.
Alberto Del Rio- Surely there is no chance Del Rio can win the title, right?? I mean he’s been given nothing at all for months and now here he is in the title match! I certainly don’t mind Del Rio at all and I like his aggressive style but I just can’t see why they would give him the title at this time.
Sheamus – The only way I can see Sheamus winning this match is if he turns heel in a huge way and everyone is massively shocked. As the US champ also, I don;t think Sheamus has any chance of winning this as he is now.
So after reading through this I still can’t decide who will win! I’m going to go for a Cena win as if Daniel Bryan recovers in time for Summerslam I think the WWE would want that to main event. I really hope I’m wrong!
