As i surf over the wrestling sites today, including this one. I read a lot of hatred directed towards The Bellas or Nikki Bella in particular. Some of the names these girls are insulted with is uncalled for. Words that i could not repeat here. Why do The Bella Twins receive all this hatred from the internet wrestling community?
Since returning on Raw in 2013, The Bellas have rose to the very top of the WWE mountain of Divas. This is not because they are gold diggers (like some fans say) or because of there “partners” who are coincidentally John Cena and Daniel Bryan, it’s because they have improved a lot over that time and they are very popular, more popular than you may think.
Take Nikki for example, Nikki is the most popular Diva right now in terms of followers on Twitter and Facebook, Nikki has 4,930,063 followers whilst her sister Brie is in second place with 3,629,580 third place is Natalya with 2,589,830. Until SummerSlam, Nikki had sold the most merchandise of any Diva. That says a lot about her.
They both are extremely over with female fans, which is 25% of the audience & have a huge mainstream following as shown above.
I met both The Bella’s at a WWE event last year, they both have a body to die for, very pretty women. Nikki was much more friendly and interactive. Just behind me The Bella merch stand had completely sold out with only Natalya and other Divas T- Shirts available.
Do they deserve there spots? Yes, because Nikki & Brie have improved, Nikki has tremendously improved on the mic and in the ring, her in-ring psychology is second to none. I think it’s time we gave The Bellas a chance, don’t you?
