AEW All Out 2022
Highlights:
- During the Casino Battle Royal, a stable of hooded men attacked the participants and one man climbed the ladder to retrieve the chip. The man revealed himself to be Stokely Hathaway, who passed the chip on to a masked man called The Joker. After the main event, The Joker was revealed to be a returning MJF.
- Some dissension between Jamie Hayter & friend Britt Baker helped to hand Toni Storm the opportunity to win her first AEW Women’s Championship.
- The Elite won the tournament final to become the inaugural trios champions.
- After the six-man tag with Wardlow and FTR ended, they introduced Harwood’s 8-year old girl. She snapped Sonjay Dutt’s pencil and pinned him in the middle of the ring.
- The fans were majorly behind The Acclaimed and were disappointed that they didn’t win the tag team titles.
- Luchasaurus revealed that his allegiance with Christian Cage hadn’t ended by viciously attacking Jungle Boy before his match. This allowed Christian to easily defeat Jungle Boy.
- Despite Daniel Garcia asking Chris Jericho to defeat Bryan Danielson without cheating, Jericho cheated to win. They later talked about it, and Jericho told him that he wouldn’t be in his corner for his ROH Pure title match against Wheeler Yuta.
- The post-show media scrum with CM Punk caused a ton of controversy and arguably took spotlight away from the event and MJF’s return.
