Highlights:
- Five championships were contested, with one changing hands while the other four were retained. Four Scottish wrestlers competed for titles in their home country, and two were successful.
- In the main event, Damian Priest retained his World Heavyweight Championship after CM Punk interfered and hit a low blow on Drew McIntyre.
- AJ Styles yelled the words “I Quit” when Cody Rhodes threatened to him with the steel steps. Despite quitting, Rhodes hit Styles with the steel steps anyway.
- During the Women’s Championship match, Chelsea Green was ejected for interfering. She returned in a luchador mask, but her interference was not enough to help Piper Niven to win the title from Bayley.
- Drama ensued between Chad Gable and Alpha Academy while he challenged Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. Gable accidentally chop blocked Maxxine Dupri’s injured leg, so Otis carried her away, which was distracting enough to help Zayn to retain.
- In the women’s tag team match, Isla Dawn pinned Shayna Bazler to take the titles away from the champions, who lost without being involved in the decision.
- This was WWE’s first livestreaming event and PLE to be hosted in Scotland. WWE celebrated another record for the highest gate revenue, but were criticized for the high ticket prices.
