UPDATE: Welp, that didn’t last long! Benjamin lost the WWE 24/7 Championship to Cedric Alexander after he was eliminated during a six-man tag team match. During the match, Alexander ran down and rolled Benjamin up to win the title. Alexander then defended his title later in the show, but Benjamin came out and hit Alexander with the Pay Dirt for the pin to win the championship back.
So Alexander now has two reigns with the WWE 24/7 Championship. Benjamin is now a three time WWE 24/7 Champion.
ORIGINAL: During Monday night’s WWE RAW broadcast, a new 24/7 Champion was crowned as Shelton Benjamin pinned R-Truth after Truth was trying to escape from Akira Tozawa’s ninjas.
This marks Benjamin’s second reign with the 24/7 Championship. R-Truth’s latest reign lasted just seven days. He is a 38 time WWE 24/7 Champion.
