Ace Steel On The Most Enjoyable Aspect Of His AEW Run

Ace Steel’s time in AEW may have been mired in controversy, but there were some positives to his time with the company.

On a recent edition of the “Wrestling with Rip Rogers” podcast, Steel spoke about his AEW role and said he had a lot of fun during his run. He said,

“I was Punker’s producer, so I produced some good stuff, produced his dog collar match [against MJF]… I did have fun, I had a lot of fun. I got to expand my skills as far as that went for producing.”

In addition to Punk, Steel said he is proud of his work with Serena Deeb and Mercedes Martinez who he worked with as part of the Ring of Honor promotion.

Steel was released from AEW in late 2022 due to his role in the All Out 2022 backstage fight. He was brought back in 2023 with CM Punk for AEW Collision.

After Punk’s release in September 2023, Steel was quietly let go from the promotion.
