In an update on AEW’s TV taping plans, the company is planning to go live on October 7, 14 and 21. As of this writing, the only taped shows through December will be October 28 and November 18.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Tony Khan wanted the Jericho 30th anniversary show and the Dynamite anniversary show to be live. Also, Full Gear takes place on November 7 and the idea is to bring in all talent for nine days from November 4-12. At that time, they will be taping a live Dynamite, the Full Gear PPV, another live Dynamite and two episodes of AEW Dark.
On October 7th, both AEW and NXT face stiff competition with the Vice Presidential debate. Also, there will likely be stiff competition on October 21 and maybe October 28 due to the World Series.
AEW has sold around 450 tickets for next week’s Dynamite broadcast. There are only 600 available.
