The AEW roster have turned on AEW World Champion CM Punk like never before after his comments and actions after All Out 2022.
Following his World title win in the main event, Punk lashed out at AEW EVPs Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, as well as Colt Cabana and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.
Punk was also reported to be the instigator of a fight between him and trainer Ace Steel, against the Bucks and Omega.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that the “locker room is way more anti-CM Punk than I’ve ever seen it”.
Sapp added that many in AEW have said that it felt the company changed when Punk joined last year.
Others have said that Punk has supported young talent.
There is consensus in AEW that Punk could be fired following the incidents at All Out, which have overshadowed the pay-per-view.
