In a recent interview with Fightful, NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale shared her experience working on AEW Collision and why she prefers the Saturday show to Dynamite or Rampage.

Nightingale recently won the Owen Hart Cup, defeating Ruby Soho in the finals. Willow said,

Initially, I wasn’t entirely sure of whether I would be a Wednesday person or a Saturday person. While some people did get a feel of what would be their home moving forward with their schedule, I never really received anything like that. I felt I would be going back and forth between both, and I still do think that will be the case from time to time. I have been on the majority of the Collision episodes, so I am seeing that as more of a home moving forward. Initially, it’s like, I’ve wrestled Saturdays my entire life doing indie show. I’m used to this, but wrapping my head about rescheduling how my life is, ‘Alright, we can get this.’ Once I actually did the first show, I had so much fun. The locker room was so relaxed, chilled. It’s a bit of a smaller crew, so with that there is not as much chaos of ‘I need to make sure I’m in the makeup chair,’ and there’s not 500 people competing to be seen by the makeup artist at once or ‘I need to go see the doctor here, but there are a million people at the doctor getting massages.’ There’s a lot more freedom to not have to rush and find space to do whatever your pre-match warmups are. Everyone is chill, and ultimately, we want to have the best show we possibly can. With something new, it’s always great to see so many different people who might come from different backgrounds or different experience levels all put their energy into making one show as successful as possible. Good vibes all around so far. Really enjoying it and it’s all been positive for me.”

In a recent appearance on the “WrestleBinge” podcast, Lance Archer discussed the matches he would love to have in AEW, He said,

Adam Cole, he’s a guy I’ve never had a chance to step in the ring. He obviously gets out there. He captures everybody’s attention when he steps on the mic. I think it would be an extreme challenge for him to step in the ring with ‘The Murderhawk Monster,’ but he’s obviously proven himself to be able to do it against the best in this business, so I’d like to prove myself against him. There’s a lot of revenge matches on my mind. I would love to step back into the ring with Wardlow, on his rise to where he’s gotten to today, three-time TNT Champion. He’s somebody that I’d like to step in the ring with. I think we could deliver a monster battle that they’ve never seen in AEW or the business before. There’s so many guys. Sammy Guevara, we’re out of Texas, and we’ve never once ever stepped in the ring together. Never once. So I’d like to step in the ring and beat him too.”

Taking to Twitter, Kip Sabian praised Orange Cassidy’s run as the reigning AEW International champion. He wrote,

All flirting, distaste, heartbreak and rivalries aside. If you don’t have @orangecassidy in your list for wrestler of the year after the amount of bangers he’s had since winning this title, you’re mental. (Still think he’s an bellend though) #AEWDynamite
