Matt Hardy and his wife, Reby, caused a stir among fans when Reby shared a video of them enjoying Monday’s WWE RAW TV tapings from a skybox at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Interestingly, the arena is just an hour away from their home in Cameron. While it’s not uncommon for wrestlers, including those in AEW, to attend WWE shows, they usually don’t publicize it on social media.
Some fans speculated that Hardy’s presence at the event could mean he was in talks with WWE, considering his ongoing contract negotiations with AEW.
However, Fightful Select is reporting that Hardy did not have a meeting with WWE officials. In fact, they were invited to the event by one of Reby’s friends and spent approximately 90 minutes in the suite.
