Hangman Page appeared on this week’s episode of Dynamite to provide an update on his status for this Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event.
In a promo segment, Page came out to address the rumors that he was injured and would be unable to compete at the show.
While Page said his main goal was to win the AEW World Championship when he joined the company when it first began, he said he wouldn’t be able to compete at Revolution 2024. This brought out Swerve Strickland, who said that he may have gone too far in their rivalry. Strickland said that while he wasn’t expecting to see Page get injured, it remains his destiny to win the AEW World Championship.
This brought out Samoa Joe, who criticized both men for being too focused on each other instead of him.
While Strickland was addressing Joe, Page attacked Strickland with his crutch. So this was all a big “swerve” (pun intended) in the end.
Hear it straight from the Cowboy's mouth.

Swerve may have taken his eyes off of Hangman a bit too early…
