Sting wrestled the final match of his career this past Sunday at AEW Revolution 2024.
The WCW legend successfully defended the AEW Tag Team Titles with Darby Allin against The Young Bucks in the main event of the show.
Following night three of the 2024 NJPW New Japan Cup, Jack Perry weighed in on Sting’s last dance. He said,
“By the way, Sting, congratulations on your retirement. Wonderful career. You got to end it with two of the best professional wrestlers in the entire world.”
Perry is currently appearing for NJPW, and it’s unknown when he’ll return to AEW.
The three-way tag team match featuring Top Flight vs. Private Party vs. Komander & Bryan Keith will headline tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage.
