El Hijo Del Vikingo appears to have suffered an injury while working a match in Mexico over the weekend.
The AAA Mega Champion competed in a match at Arena López Mateos in Mexico City, and the bout ended up being stopped early.
It is said that Vikingo landed awkwardly on a tilt-a-whirl maneuver and his knee buckled. Several AAA officials tended to him after the match and he had his knee wrapped.
Mas Lucha is reporting that the early word is that it may have been a ligament rupture. That has not been confirmed just yet.
We send our best wishes to El Hijo Del Vikingo.
