Keith Lee delivered some unfortunate news on Wednesday, revealing that he is scheduled to undergo not one but two surgeries.
The All Elite Wrestling star had initially been set to face Swerve Strickland last month at Worlds End, but the match was canceled due to Lee not being medically cleared.
In a tweet last month, Lee mentioned that he had been dealing with an injury since September 2022.
While the exact nature of his injuries remains unclear, Lee shared on a private account via Haus of Wrestling that he will be undergoing two surgeries. He wrote,
“Took roughly 19 years…. but I guess it’s my turn. Time to get fixed. Here’s to double surgeries. Certainly one way to start 2024.”
