Ohio Valley Wrestling may no longer be WWE’s official developmental ground, but the company still has ties to the Sports Entertainment juggernaut.

OVW is the subject of the recent Netflix documentary ‘Wrestlers‘ and is currently under the ownership of Matt Jones, Louisville mayor Craig Greenberg, and former WWE wrestler Al Snow.

During a recent edition of the “Strictly Business” podcast, Snow told host Eric Bischoff about OVW’s current ties to WWE. He said,

“There are still a few people that I know in WWE that are still there, and I’ve retained those relationships. But, no, there’s no direct interaction or contact with WWE. They’ll do a favor or whatever. If I want to do something and want to use some video footage that they own, they have no problem with that.”

WWE officially cut ties with OVW in 2008 but not before the latter promotion helped produce the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, and Brock Lesnar.
