During Sunday night’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II “Zero Hour” pre-show, Athena defeated Billie Starkz to advance in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. With the win, the ROH Women’s Champion will move on to face Willow Nightingale in the semifinals.

As we previously reported here on eWn, Tom Lawlor’s match with Adam Cole was scrapped due to the latter dealing with an “illness.”
Prior to the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II pay-per-view event going live, Lawlor defeated Serpentico in a dark match.
Following the match, AEW President Tony Khan came out to thank everyone for coming to the show. Christian Cage and Luchasaurus then came out to troll the fans in Toronto.
