As seen on this past Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, Ricky Starks and Big Bill defeated FTR in less than five minutes to capture the AEW Tag Team Championships. There were reports that Cash Wheeler is currently dealing with an injury he sustained during FTR’s match against Aussie Open at the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view event.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Dax Harwood pushed AEW’s creative team to book the quick finish of the match. As we previously reported here on eWn, the plan is for a rematch to happen in the future.
As far as Cash Wheeler’s injury is concerned, it’s said that he injured his ribs, but he isn’t expected to miss much time.
