As we reported on our official eWn Facebook account earlier today, AEW taped more content for Dynamite on Thursday. They’ve been taping Tuesday – Thursday this week. According to a report from Wrestling Inc, several Georgia officials attempted to shut down Thursday’s TV tapings. The site reports that several officials arrived at QT Marshall’s gym in Norcoss, Georgia and attempted to shut down the tapings.

AEW officials were able to produce the proper paperwork that showed that they were following proper codes. Once that was done, the tapings were allowed to continue but several state officials stayed behind to ensure that protocols were followed. The tapings are being done to provide content for Dynamite through the middle of May. The state of Georgia will be enforcing their “Stay at Home” order on Friday so AEW was allowed to tape on Thursday as long as they had the proper permits for the building, which they did.

Of course, the speculation among some talent was that WWE may have been behind the attempt to get the TV tapings shut down. Take that for what it is – speculation at this point. But the location was leaked online late last night and many don’t think it’s a coincidence that Georgia officials showed up shortly thereafter. Basically, someone from WWE may have made a phone call. But again, it’s only speculation among some of the AEW talent at this point.

We’ll you posted as we hear more on this developing story.
