While there were reports earlier this week that Hideo “KENTA” Itami would be moving to the WWE “205 Live” brand very soon, there is also talk in Japan that Itami is interested in returning to the country when his WWE contract expires.
Before signing with WWE, Itami (KENTA) was a major star for the Pro Wrestling NOAH promotion. He moved to the United States and has been working hard to learn the English language while working at the WWE Performance Center and in NXT.
For what it’s worth, Itami being moved to WWE “205 Live” is not a lock. Several other WWE NXT Superstars, including Andrade Cien Almas and The Authors of Pain, were rumored to be called up a few months ago but those moves never happened.
Of course, Vince McMahon has to approve all main roster call-ups.
