Because AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page tested positive for COVID-19, it caused this week’s Dynamite and Rampage episodes to be rewritten.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that due to Page not being there, plans for both shows had to be changed. Page is expected to be back on television next week.
Rampage had to be re-written more than Dynamite did. It’s likely the angle to set up Page defending the AEW World Title against CM Punk at Double Or Nothing will take place next week despite the company already announcing the match.
