The biggest story this week was WWE announcing the releases of Emma, Summer Rae, and Darren Young this past Sunday afternoon.
It’s well known that Emma was not happy with her role in the company in the months leading up to her release. She voiced her opinion about it on Twitter. Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated is reporting that the door remains open for her to return down the line. Her exit is viewed by some as addition by subtraction in the locker room. The reason she was released was due to ‘considerable’ heat she had with the company.
The decision to release these Superstars were made last Friday during Vince McMahon’s routine budget meeting. The three talents were informed on Sunday before they had to fly out for TV on Monday.
