WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently did a media call in London, England where she admitted to telling Asuka about her pregnancy prior to relinquishing her RAW Women’s Championship last year on May 11th.
At the time, Asuka had just won the Women’s Money in the Bank contract and rather than cashing it in, she opened up the briefcase to find the RAW Women’s Championship inside as a gift from Lynch, as she would go on to announce her real-life pregnancy.
Of course, Asuka’s reaction led some fans to speculate whether she knew of the news beforehand, and Lynch recently revealed the details. She said,
“I told her just before. It was a great reaction. She wasn’t supposed to know, I wasn’t supposed to tell her. I really like Asuka.”
Lynch and Seth Rollins welcomed their daughter, Roux, last December.
