As you are well aware of, we reported to you yesterday that an NXT Developmental Talent had tested positive for COVID-19. The name of this individual has not been released to the public, but we do have more additional information to pass along to you regarding this case.

Fightful is reporting various WWE talent, who spoke to reporter Sean Ross Sapp revealed they were not aware about the positive test before the story started surfacing online yesterday. Additionally, F4W’s Bryan Alvarez that absolutely “nobody”, from the WWE talent to the audience members collectively, had no idea about the COVID-19 case until these reports were coming out.

Dave Meltzer from The Wrestling Observer also addressed the situation, issuing the following statement:

“Nobody knew until we knew. Yeah, I was told that they knew when we knew. Well, they sent out a memo to me — I believe it was probably — As soon as Raw was over, I got it. So, I presume that it was sent out right after Raw ended about somebody testing positive.”

To go with these reports above, an update was provided by WrestleTalk by their own collective sources. According to the report by Louis Louis Dangoor, WWE Superstars at the RAW taping were unaware about “fans” being allowed into the Performance Center until news of their attendance leaked earlier that day. The roster was also completely unaware of the COVID-19 case as well until the news had leaked out after RAW went off the air.

The talent within’ WWE are becoming more frustrated with the measures taken by WWE to insure their health and safety, along with the serious lack of communication.
