TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley recently appeared on the Team Venom Wrestling Podcast and talked about his future plans, wrestling Kurt Angle and more.
On working with Kurt Angle: I think Kurt’s probably one of the best people in the wrestling business across the board and I’ve never done anything with him so I’m just chomping at the bit for the opportunity to be able to wrestle against Kurt Angle. That whole motto “You got to beat the man to be the man” and in my eyes there’s nobody bigger than Kurt in this business.
On his future plans: The one goal that I have is I want to hold two titles. It’s a trickier situation now because TNA is not on Spike anymore so the relationship isn’t as good as it was before, so being able to juggle fighting and wrestling might be a little more challenging. I want to make sure both sides are willing to work and if so, I want to have the Bellator title and the TNA title and have them this year.
