Former TNA Knockout SoCal Val recently appeared on the Team Venom Wrestling Podcast and down below are the highlights from that interview.
On leaving TNA in 2013: It was definitely my time to explore other options and I love TNA. I was there for nine years but I really felt that it was time. My contract was up and obviously there’s been no ill will if they were nice enough to have me on the UK tour when Christy couldn’t make it.
On appearing as a rosebud on SmackDown in WWE: Last July I worked three shows, Battleground in Tampa, Raw in Miami and Smackdown in Orlando. As far as career goals I think it’s offensive to a fan to act like you wouldn’t want to end up in the WWE. I was always a WWF fan growing up and that’s where I wanted to end up.
“I had some friends there that I contacted that were nice enough to point me in the right directions and the higher ups in WWE have been nothing but really receptive and cool.”
