Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) may have inadvertently helped ticket sales for last night’s WWE Hell in a Cell.
According to the Wrestling Observer, secondary market demand occurred after fan speculation of Rotunda’s return on social media. Although Rotunda ended up not returning, the possibility of him appearing in the main event helped gain interest in the show.
Rotunda did attend an autograph signing Sunday afternoon for Legends of the Ring and is currently booked for an event in Woodbridge, NJ this coming Saturday. Fan speculation of Rotunda’s return came after he made several tweets referencing his WWE release. Since his release, Rotunda has worked on a horror project with special effects artist Jason Baker.

WWE released Rotunda from his contract last July. Many have wondered if he’ll appear on AEW, but there hasn’t been anything suggesting he would. As for now, we’ll have to wait and see if Rotunda will make his return to WWE as Bray Wyatt.
