AEW took to Twitter on Monday night, revealing that Shaquille O’Neal will be making his first appearance for AEW on this Wednesday night’s Dynamite broadcast. He’ll be appearing on the show in a segment with Tony Schiavone.
Shaq recently renewed his contract with Turner Sports (TNT, etc.) so the idea is for a cross-over. After he re-signed with Turner Sports, he said,
“I’d love to fight Cody. Write it. Print it. Text it to him. Call AEW up and tell them.”
Also, when Jade Cargill made her debut on Dynamite several weeks ago, she referenced Shaq and said he might come in to face Cody.
