During a recent interview with Fightful, Impact Wrestling Superstar Brian Myers commented on how Vince McMahon had Mark Carrano contact him about working with the company as a producer back in 2018. Myers did shadow other producers to be groomed for the position, but then went on to tell Vince that he was interested more in coming back to the squared circle instead. McMahon would go on to tell Myers that he would love to see him as a producer once his in-ring career was over. According to Myers, he claims that McMahon hand picked him over a group of other Superstars to bring in following the 2016 brand split between RAW and SmackDown.
Myers claims the door is open for him to return to WWE down the road to work as a producer. After he was let go by WWE last year, Tommy Dreamer contacted him and worked out a deal for him to come wrestle for Impact within a week of his WWE release.
