At a SmackDown live event in Sheffield, England on Wednesday April 18, Christian made his WWE in-ring return. Christian teamed with Mark Henry to face the team of Brodus Clay and Booker T.
Clay ended up getting the pinfall win over Christian and even attempted a spin-a-roonie after the match.
WWE Diva Natalya also worked the live event after being busted open at the SmackDown TV tapings on Tuesday night. Natalya lost to Alicia Fox in singles action.
