According to a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the agency representing both WWE and CM Punk, reached out to FOX officials about Punk co-hosting the upcoming WWE in-studio show on FS1.
In the potential deal, Punk would be working for FOX, not WWE. WON noted WWE would hate the idea. There have reportedly been zero negotiations regarding Punk taking the gig. It was also noted that this is something Punk’s agent brought up, and not something Punk himself clearly wanted.
The report adds that sources note there’s nothing to the speculation. The WWE’s FS1 in-studio show will air on Tuesday nights later this year. Renee Young is slated to be the main host, but plans may have changed since that was initially reported earlier this summer.
