UFC President Dana White spoke with MMA media reporters following the UFC 200 weigh-ins on Friday. In the video, which you can watch below, White talked about various topics including Brock Lesnar and how the deal to bring back the former UFC heavyweight champion came about. White explained that he had to work with Lesnar’s team, Vince McMahon, and Triple H to make the deal since Lesnar is currently under contract with WWE. White praised McMahon and said that he had a lot of respect for him. White added that McMahon was an “animal” at the negotiating table.
One media member brought up WWE streaming the UFC 200 weigh-ins and promoting the event, which Lesnar co-headlines with Mark Hunt, on social media. White said that the “deal couldn’t have worked out any better.”
