As seen during this week’s WWE SmackDown! Live broadcast, Daniel Bryan “revealed” Roman Reigns’ mystery attacker. At the very end of the show, Bryan and Rowan revealed the attacker, who turned out to be a Rowan lookalike. Seriously.
As of this writing, the identity of the mystery double isn’t known. Someone in WWE creative apparently likes dudes with beards for this storyline though – Murphy, Bryan, Rowan, the lookalike, etc. The original storyline plans called for Daniel Bryan to be revealed as the attacker and that still appears to be the plan in the end.
