Fans may poke fun at Control Your Narrative, but as far as EC3 is concerned, the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion has done exactly that.
It’s been over a year since CYN hosted its latest show. The promotion was often ridiculed by fans who felt CYN was being over-serious with its tone and for its ‘Fight Club’ style.
On a recent edition of the “Insight” podcast, EC3 had a message for those who bring up Control Your Narrative in an effort to make fun of him. He said,
“NWA has given me the freedom to control my narrative and here I sit as the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. The narrative controlled. Which is another thing that I’ll get online. Posting about NWA [and trolls say] ‘Well how’s Control Your Narrative going?!’ Well, I’ve controlled my narrative. I became the World Heavyweight Champion.”
EC3 has held the gold since NWA 75 in August of last year. With his win, EC3 captured the title and forced former champion Tyrus into retirement.
