Edge has enjoyed hundreds of matches during his wrestling career, but none stand out like his March 2008 showdown with The Undertaker.
During a recent appearance on WWE’s “The Bump,” the WWE Hall of Famer was asked about his favorite ever match and didn’t hesitate to namedrop the Phenom. He said,
“Undertaker, WrestleMania 24. It’s [my] first main event of WrestleMania and to see him in the ring as I’m walking down, losing feeling in my arms because I’m just so [amped].”
Edge was also asked about who he wishes he’d had the chance to face in the ring. He said,
“Bret Hart. You know, I think we faced each other in like an eight-man tag or something like that, but prime “Rated-R”, prime “Hitman”, you know, Iron Man. That would’ve been fun, or prime “Rattlesnake”, prime “Rated-R”, that would’ve been pretty fun.”
At the show, The Undertaker dethroned Edge to win the World Heavyweight Championship and extend his WrestleMania streak to 16-0.
