Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Ricochet has been dealing with an injury for some time which dates back to when he was injured on the WWE NXT tour of Europe in June. He missed a dive at the Paris live event on June 11 which at the time was described as a tweak. He worked the Takeover: Chicago event with The Velveteen Dream, and the WWE Network shows in the UK; but hasn’t wrestled since.
According to the report, the injury to Ricochet isn’t serious, which is good news considering the fact that he’s currently scheduled to face NXT North American Champion Adam Cole at Takeover: Brooklyn IV.
