Dirty Dango, fka Fandango, has spoken about how easy it was to lose friends in WWE if you were being pushed.
Dango was with WWE until June of 2021 and is a former NXT Tag Team Champion and winner of Season 4 of the original NXT.
On a recent edition of Konnan’s “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, Dango recalled how people would turn on one another if there was the possibility that somebody else was being pushed. He said,
“Everybody’s your friend when you’re doing dark matches. That’s what I realized, you know what I’m saying? Because he’s lovable, he’s a nice guy and then you really figure out who your real friends are when you start to get a little momentum, you know what I’m saying?
